Opportunity Knocks for Eatonville

Discussions have have ensued with a potential tenant which would bring Eatonville its first financial institution in 121 years. The Board of Directors along with its Executive Director has been quietly pursuing a opportunity that might land the Town of Eatonville its first banking business within the historic town. Rumblings around town have brewed and anticipation has been growing. The town through the Community Redevelopment Agency is not out of the woods yet on this opportunity. Some logistical hurdles have to meet.

This renewed interest has sparked several other businesses to consider Eatonville. The Executive Director states "our location is great and the people of this community is great, if opportunity is knocking we should hurry and open up the doors". Some employees are already planning to move their banking business to this new partner.

Meanwhile, strong interest has develop in redeveloping the school board site and new businesses considering relocating to the Town of Eatonville.

The entities will seek to leverage funding and grant opportunities to create safe haven activities for citi-zens in the community. Some additional partners are expected to come on board at a later date to support a local weed and seed effort.
